Workshop on collaboration, innovation, and impact
December 15 @ 09:00 - 12:00
PhD candidates from the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology and the Faculty of Social Sciences at Lund University are invited to a workshop on collaboration, innovation, and impact.
There are increasing expectations for academia to build close relations with the surrounding society and to develop research outreach. Are you interested in knowing more about how to relate to these expectations?
The purpose of this workshop is to increase your knowledge of collaboration, innovation, and impact as well as the support provided by different functions at Lund University. You will get the opportunity to reflect on and discuss how you can approach, collaborate with, and reach out to the surrounding society with your own research. You will also take part in the experiences of two senior researchers who have been highly involved in stakeholder engagement: associate professor Katja Lindqvist at the faculty of Social Sciences, and professor Thomas O’Dell at the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology.
The ambition is that you should leave the workshop with at least one idea of a concrete action to carry out.
The workshop is led by Sophie Hydén Picasso, innovation advisor at LU Innovation, and Charlotte Simonsson, faculty coordinator of collaboration and innovation and associate professor in strategic communication.
Time: December 15, 9-12 am
Location: R 115, Gamla kirurgen, Sandgatan 13, Lund
Please, sign up for the workshop no later than December 1 at this registration link: https://sunet.artologik.net/lu/Survey/31192
